One of the most commonly used home based treatment for common warts is the Duct Tape method. Believe it or not, duct tape is almost always used at first for the treatment of warts.

The Duct type kills the bacteria inside of the wart from the acid inside the adhesive on the piece of tape. The treatment method is very simple, what you do is cut a piece of the duct tape from the roll, and place the piece over the wart. After about six days, or so of leaving the duct tape placed onto the wart you should see some improvement on the size of the wart.

Either the wart should be completely gone, or somewhat gone. If the wart is not completely gone, yet you do see some improvement from using the tape, then just redo the same method used the first time. This time is should fully remove the wart from your skin. After about another six days or so remove the duct tape from you skin using some solvent to dissolve the adhesive in the tape, water usually works.

You should always ask your doctor before using any method of home based treatment for any type of infection on the skin or anywhere else, this is just a suggestion that we provide for you that has been proven to work. If this method does not work for you, and the wart is still there with no improvement whatsoever you should either ask your family doctor for a suggestion, or visit your local drug store, and ask there.
